There is a big difference between the value of the Knicks First round picks and swaps from 2028 to 2031 then the Lakers. The Knicks picks are pretty much guaranteed to be in the 20s while the Lakers picks will almost certainly be top 10 possibly top five. Because LeBron will be gone and AD will be old and very expensive . The Knicks swaps pretty much have no value at all. Lakers just need a GM smart enough to see how bad the Lakers future is from 2027-2031 and that will make Lakers 28-31 picks and swaps extremely valuable . Look how valuable the nets picks and swaps have become for the Rockets.

The lakers, should keep the 17th pick in order to move Up in this year's 2024 draft. And, maybe get Zach Edey.
